Fathers Day at the Heatons |

Sunday 18th June is Fathers Day, so why not treat him to his lunch in the Heatons Sports Club Function room. Two sittings will be available the first being 12.30pm, followed by the second at 2.00pm. 30 covers will be available for both sittings.

Gents Second team v Macclesfield |

The team travelled to Macclesfield for their second match. It turned out to be a very closely contested affair with the opposition turning out three consistent couples & had, as their third couple, one excellent player & one very awkward hacker. When your thirds can get four sets as they did, it takes significant pressure off the other team members. |

The gent’s second team made a welcome return to the North East Cheshire League and it was also our first home fixture for four years because of the redevelopment project. Unfortunately, for that doubly auspicious occasion, we met a very strong team who had won their previous five matches and they dispatched our guys by 16 sets to 2. |
