With a full side out we gave ourselves the chance to finish on a high and to put us in a strong position to finish 2nd, although whether we do or not will be determined by Lymm’s final match which is on August 13th. Lymm are 2 points behind with their final game to play |

This was likely to be a tough match as Mellor are having quite a good season and for us it was quite possibly another banana skin match similar to Davenport.
